Cathy, beautiful! You are making me miss the Cape so much!! Hope you are having a wonderful adventure. I’m on one of my own and hope to blog about it soon. Thank you for sharing.
Brigitte,
Thank you so much for taking the time out of your own adventure to comment here! We rented bikes and rode along the beautiful path In the Cape National Seashore. This photo was taken at Race Point. It was a foggy and glorious path. I look forward to hearing about your adventure soon.
Hugs,
Cathy
Lovely poem and composition with a nice splash of color under skies that were also rather bleak and gray down in NYC on Wednesday … and it looks like it’s going to be more of the same on Thursday (to access my inner Al Roker).
Yes, the skies were bleak and gray here. I got some fun shots in the fog on the beach – one of which I’ll post sometime later. I think it’s supposed to rain off and on today, so we’ve decided to take the bus down to Wellfleet and check out the galleries there. Peter has also found a Lobster Barn for lunch there. We fly home tomorrow to cold weather (to access my inner Weather Channel).
Thanks, RG. Being new to poetry, I’m finding that it’s really fun. A good thesaurus also helps. Have you ever checked out the Visual Thesaurus? Great website! Thanks for the comment!
Gorgeous! Absolutely gorgeous, in image AND words. All of it taking my breath away, and a wonderful conclusion. I love it all. Thank you so much for sharing your gifts here. Love, Gina
Very very nice
Thank you, Boomie!

Lobster Barn! Take some pix there. I love lobster, but seldom eat it. Yes, the fall chill is finally coming.
Riotous blush.. love that image

The verse made me see the image differently, see the juxtaposition more clearly. Thank you for both.
Thank you, Clare. I loved the juxtaposition between the grasses on the dunes and these bright splashes of pink scattered randomly. Almost shocking.

Thank you, Gina. You among others have inspired me to try writing poetry. It’s really fun! So good to see you here.
