on rocks
of Breakwater,
stretched
to infinity.
Cape’s hook hosts
man’s warning
of dangerous shoals.

Very atmospheric photo. I wonder why it is so difficult to capture atmosphere in a landscape or seascape?
I think it’s probably the contrast. Our eyes see more contrast than the camera does. I did tweak the contrast a little bit in Photoshop Elements just to help the atmosphere feel more dramatic. I don’t do much post-processing in any of my photos, but I’ll sometimes play with contrast and/or brightness. Thanks, Clare.
