For this week’s challenge, I chose a recent macro photo taken with my Nikon D600 using a 100mm Tokina Macro lens. I picked up this bouquet of spring flowers to bring the energy of spring into our home and I got lost in the details of the white alstroemeria. I love the freshness of the white blossom with the little purple stripes.

This is beautiful!
Thank you, Lady Lovely!
Have you ever put together a calendar or note cards of your photos, Cathy? They’d be gorgeous.
note cards would be awesome!
Thanks, Audra. I may do that soon!
Carrie,
I did some note cards several years ago, but not recently. Thank you so much for the compliment. I may do that at some time in the near future. I’m playing with a new kind of photo system called High Dynamic Range Imaging – really fun! So I may do some note cards or sell my photos sometime soon.
Hope you’re having a good weekend!
Cathy

Beautiful composition Cathy! You do have an excellent eye for details — as well as terrific big pictures.
Thank you, V. Macros are some of my favorites. Also looking for some color this time of year!
